Lynn Anderson

Lynn Rene Anderson (born September 26, 1947 in Grand Forks, North Dakota), is a Country music singer who is best known for her 1970 Country/Pop crossover hit "I Never Promised You a Rose Garden". This won her a Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance in 1971. She continued to have great success on the Country charts well into the late 1970s.
